Ilorin Stands Still for Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN

For Yusuf Olaolu Ali, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Professor of Law Practice, history has been made in his lifetime. It was at the ancient Palace of the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Maimartaba, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, where Ali's pick as pioneer Kuliya Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate, is formalized on April 11th, 2025.

Since late 2024 that the monarch gifted the founder, Ghalib Chambers, a law firm with Headquarters in Ilorin, the covetous traditional title, accolades continued to pour in torrent from all stratas of the society, given the amount of reverence with which the holder is held.

It is an understatement to posit that Ali commands respect and admiration among his contemporaries and those below him in the field of law. Obviously, this cannot be divorced from the fact that beyond practice as a lawyer, he is versed in jurisprudence; little wonder he is one of the most sought after in the legal voyage.

    The head office is at Ilorin where the chambers occupies its own purpose-built chambers on two floors. The building, Ghalib House, is at 24 Abdul Wahab Folawiyo Road, Ilorin, Kwara State.

  • Abuja Office

    Ghalib House is at No. 4 Sakono Street, Adjacent AP Plaza, off Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Wuse II, P.O. Box 12791, Abuja FCT. The office is headed by a deputy head of chambers with several years of post call experience. there are two other Counsel in chambers at the office.

  • Lagos Office

    We have an office at 2nd Floor Suite WW4, Tafawa Balewa Complex, Lagos.

    One of our associates Alhaji J.O. Abass overlooks the office. Alhaji Abass is a legal practioner of more than twenty years standing.
